Greater Porto - Montes de Lá Tinto Reserva 2019
" Opening a bottle is opening your heart. Because in every glass of wine there is a story to hear, knowledge to share, an emotion to feel. It is with this motivation that Grande Porto – Vinhos e Bebidas – has been preparing and selecting, over the years, the best grape varieties to produce unique and singular wines."
Grande Porto Vinhos e Bebidas was born in 2005 from a family passion and the desire and dedication to wine production. Its first wine, Messala Alvarinho , is produced in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region with the noblest grape variety of Vinho Verde, the Alvarinho, and its name is "Messala" in honor of the main mentor of the wine project. " Desfiado " is our tribute to the characteristic regional embroidery. We unravel a story with the grape varieties of Vinho Verde, we unravel the Minho region.
Over the years we have expanded the production of our wines to other regions – Douro, Alentejo, Dão and Lisbon – due to an opportunity that arose in the international market. The Alentejo region, known for its hills, gave rise to the Montes de Lá brand . From the Dão region, where we find imposing mountains, we derived the Serras de Lá brand . From the Douro region, well known for its beautiful slopes, the Encostas de Lá brand was born . Finally, from the Lisbon region comes the characteristic Pode Ser wine , produced to instill need and desire in the consumer, becoming a real and pleasurable possibility, full of sensations and emotions. It arises from the expression "pode ser" (it could be), regulating verbal interaction, thus facilitating the ritual of conviviality around a table.
Today we highlight a product from our partner, Montes de Lá Reserva Tinto 2019, from the Alentejo region, specifically the Avis area.
