Famous for its Port wine since 1751, Ferreira also dedicates itself to the selection and aging of high-quality grape brandies. It is from the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the brandies are carefully chosen and aged in 270-liter oak casks. In order to obtain maximum quality, tastings are carried out periodically and several batches of different ages and characteristics are introduced. After the final batch is chosen, the brandy is placed in 640-liter casks, where it ages.

Exam Notes

Color: Dark golden color with greenish hues.

Aroma: Very strong aroma of good quality wood.

Taste: On the palate it is soft, velvety, and with a very elegant and persistent finish.

Harmonization: Digestive

Conservation: Indefinite longevity. It is ready to drink now and does not benefit from bottle aging. Provided it is stored under suitable conditions, it can be kept for many years without altering its characteristics.
