Encostas de Lá Reserva Tinto is a very dark wine with indigo reflections, produced in the Douro Superior sub-region.

Grape varieties: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz

Exam Notes

Ruby red in color, the nose is very aromatic and elegant with notes of ripe fruit, spices and hints of wood. On the palate it is a rich wine, with lively tannins, good freshness and a long, persistent finish.

Pairing: To accompany red meat dishes or roast goat.

Service: It should be consumed at 16-18°C.

Winemaking: Grapes are harvested manually into 25 kg boxes. The grapes are then destemmed and placed in stainless steel vats for skin maceration for 2 days. Fermentation takes place over 12 days at a controlled temperature of 24ºC. The wine ages for 12 months in new and used French oak barrels.
