"Produced only in exceptional years, UNIQO Grande Reserva is the result of selecting the best wines aged for 20 months in French oak barrels."

Grape varieties: 65% Tinta Roriz; 25% Touriga Nacional; 10% Touriga Franca

Winemaking: The grapes, hand-picked into 16 kg boxes, were carefully selected upon arrival at the winery, and cold maceration was adapted to each grape variety, being shorter for Tinta Roriz. Alcoholic fermentation took place separately in truncated conical vats, with two daily "delestage" (removal of the fermentation process), and malolactic fermentation occurred in barrels.

Aging: After 20 months of aging in new French oak barrels and numerous tastings, the best barrels from each batch were selected for the creation of the final blend of this Grande Reserva.

Aroma: It reveals a rich, complex aroma, dominated by black fruit, coffee, and spices.

Taste: On the palate it is dense, with lively acidity and firm tannins, promising good aging potential.
