Winemaking: Distillation of wines from the Bairrada region, specifically fermented for distillation and subsequent aging.

Internship: Aged for 20 years in 225L Limousin oak barrels.

Exam Notes

Color: Crystalline amber color

Aroma: It presents a very complex bouquet, with notes of dried fruits such as hazelnut, walnut and fig, and also has hints of toast such as tobacco and cigar box.

Taste: On the palate it is velvety and complex with a long, spicy finish.

Pairing: As a digestive or leisure drink, to accompany chocolates and nuts.

Conservation: This grape brandy can be consumed immediately after bottling or stored and aged for many years. 

Service: Best served at a temperature of around 18-20ºC.

Alcohol content: 40% vol.
