In the year of Mário André Gonçalves' 17th birthday, the first of the 3rd generation of the Grande Porto family, we launched a special and limited edition of Montes de Lá Reserva with 17%. With a singular and differentiated profile, resulting from the sublime union between the specific terroir requirements and the winemaker's expertise, it is made from Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties.

Tasting Notes

Deep red color, intense aroma, with notes of wild berries, jam, and spices, in a well-personalized ensemble. Full-bodied in the mouth, with intense wood, ripe, and firm tannins.

Food pairing: Ideal to accompany game meats and strong, spicy dishes.

Serving: It is recommended to consume at 18°C.

Vinification: Fermentation in French oak vats at a temperature of 24º for 12 days. Aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for 16 months and for 1 year in bottle. Bottled without filtration or stabilization so as not to affect the wine's evolutionary potential, it may create a slight natural deposit during bottle aging.
