Wine seeking dialogue, illustrated by Luís Afonso.
A wine made for the pleasure of fine dining, seeking harmony and balance for everyday enjoyment, not just special occasions. Without pretending to be the best wine in the world, it's a wine you want to drink, fresh, young and appealing, a wine with the character of a Douro region that enchants with its simplicity. In Diálogo, oak is used sparingly so that the wine can preserve all its youthfulness.

Winemaking
The 2020 viticultural year was characterized by its heterogeneity. A rainy winter followed by a fairly moderate spring allowed the vines to develop quite well, ending with a rather cool June which delayed this vegetative development. July was austere, quite hot, the hottest since 1931, with 3 periods of heat waves, causing losses due to sunburn in the vineyards.
The grape harvest began in the first weeks of August in the warmer areas and ended at the higher altitudes in late September.
Overall, 2020 was a good year for full-bodied red wines with plenty of color and tannins.
After being transported to Quinta de Nápoles, the grapes were carefully destemmed into a stainless steel tank where they fermented at a controlled temperature for about a week. Part of the batch is aged in French oak barrels while the remainder remains in stainless steel for about 6 months.
