An unusual style, this Niepoort Dry White. The grapes for this wine undergo a long maceration with the skins and stems. The final blend includes several wines aged in small old oak barrels in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, for a minimum of three and a half years before bottling.

Winemaking: The grapes for this wine undergo a long maceration with the skins. It is vinified in lagares (traditional stone troughs), occasionally with foot treading. Fermentation continues almost until dryness before the addition of grape brandy.
Internship: It ages in small, old oak barrels in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia for a minimum of three and a half years before bottling.
