This wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Sousão grape varieties, as well as a portion from old vines. After 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, it presents intense aromas of wild blackberries, dark chocolate, and warm spices. On the palate, it is quite solid with persistent yet rounded tannins, finishing long and enveloping.

After working seven harvests as a winemaker at Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and control the entire production process. Essentially, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro.

Inspired by this desire, in 2001, upon acquiring 9 hectares of vineyards, he began his personal project, located at Quinta do Poeira, in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
