Exam Notes

Color: Intense ruby.

Aroma: Ripe black fruit, spices, white pepper, vanilla, and light caramel. It presents notes of citrus and stone fruits, such as peach.

Taste: On the palate it is rich and firm, with notes of earth, spices and a smooth, yet persistent finish.

Pairing: Enjoy with roasted or grilled meat dishes and aged cheeses.

Service: Serve at 16ºC.

Vintage: In the 2019/2020 agricultural year, there was a 13% increase in production compared to the previous season. The vines generally showed good vegetative development and health, with harvesting beginning very early, in July. In the second half of July, high temperatures accompanied by hot, dry winds increased the likelihood of some cases of sunburn, but without causing significant damage. Temperatures were above average compared to the last 21 years. Regarding rainfall, the recorded values ​​were 5.5% above the average for the same period.
