Color: Intense ruby

Aroma: Ripe black fruit, light notes of vanilla and spices.

Taste: On the palate it shows freshness, tannins with good evolution and a persistent finish.

Pairing: Enjoy with stronger cheeses and meat dishes, such as grilled, roasted, and game meats.

Service: Serve at 16-18ºC.

Vintage: The 2019-2020 vintage began with a mild autumn and winter, and a humid start to spring. There was more rainfall and more rainy days in April and May compared to 2019, replenishing the soil. This situation led to greater concern regarding weeds and diseases, which were duly controlled. July was hot with some reports of sunburn. At the end of July and the beginning of August, the nights were cool, which aided ripening. 2020 was a year of good concentration and freshness from balanced grapes. There was also a slight increase in quantity, although with relatively low yields.

Winemaking: The grapes that gave rise to this wine come from an old, low-yielding vine plot, and the wine has been partially aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
