The Douro, despite being a very old region, still has much to explore thanks to its vast size and enormous diversity of terroirs. Quinta de La Rosa is a good example of this diversity, with vineyards ranging from around 100 meters along the river in the imposing Vale do Inferno, to 500 meters in altitude in the Lamelas vineyard. We also have diverse sun exposures – east, north and south – and a great variety of grape varieties. Always with a privileged view of the Douro River, all the grapes from the Quinta are of grade A – the best that the region has to offer.
