Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca

Winemaker: Alexandra Pinto

Winemaking: Total destemming followed by crushing; cold maceration for 24 hours; fermentation for 6 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.

Internship: Aged for twelve months in French oak barrels that were used only once, and six months in the bottle.

Exam Notes

Color: Dark violet

Aroma: Very concentrated on the nose, with notes of wood combined with stewed red fruits.

Palate: Balanced on the palate with firm tannins, resulting in a harmonious, clean and persistent wine.

Pairing: All types of red meat, as well as cheese platters.

Service: In order to preserve all its characteristics, this wine has not been subjected to any filtration or stabilization process, so the formation of sediment is natural. It should be decanted 10 minutes before serving, at a temperature of 17ºC.
