Scala Coeli owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli, commonly known as the Carthusian Monastery, where Carthusian monks remain in silence and prayer. It results from the best vinifications of each year using grape varieties less traditional to the Alentejo region. It was first produced in 2008.

Aroma: Citrus and tropical fruit aroma.
Taste: Mineral touch and vanilla.
Pairing: Enjoy with soups, shellfish, fish dishes, and some light meat dishes.
Conservation: Store lying down at a temperature of 15°C.
Service: Recommended serving temperature: 12°
Winemaking: Vines aged 15 years, obtained "through the best fermentations of the year, guided by a careful selection of berries, with only grapes in perfect state of ripeness being chosen". Fermentation took place in stainless steel and aging also took place, for 12 months on fine lees, with bâtonnage.
