The Serras de Lá Reserva Encruzado is an altitude wine that reveals a complex, fresh personality and an authentic expression of the Dão region. The Silgueiros region is surrounded by mountains, which shelter the vineyards from both the Atlantic influence and the region's harsh characteristic climate. It is where tradition and nature meet to create wines of excellence.

Tasting Notes

With a bright and crystal-clear citrus color, this wine presents a delicate aroma, with notes of orange blossom, linden, and lemon balm, enveloped by nuances of fresh wood from aging. It reveals good aromatic complexity. On the palate, it stands out for its fresh and mineral structure, providing harmony and a long and refined persistence.

Food Pairing: Ideal for roasted fish dishes, seafood, and white meats.

Serving: Serve at 10-12°C.

Storage: The bottles should be stored horizontally in a place away from light, clean, airy, and with normal conditions of mild temperature and constant humidity.

Winemaking: Classic open-vat fermentation, with barrel fermentation, with controlled temperature up to 16º C and maceration for 3 weeks. It ages for 7 months in French oak barrels with gentle bâtonnage, followed by bottle aging.
