The Alvarinho grapes, produced according to organic farming concepts where we protect the viticultural ecosystem by promoting biodiversity and environmental sustainability, are hand-picked from the old vines, over 40 years old, located at Quinta de Soalheiro, the Primeiras Vinhas (First Vines). We currently also include a selection of Alvarinho grapes planted on their own rootstock in the blend.

Tasting Notes

Citrus yellow color, elegant and full aroma that develops in the glass, becoming increasingly persistent. The flavor is full-bodied, fresh, and with great gustatory complexity.

Food Pairing:Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany seafood, fish dishes, or poultry dishes.

Storage:Store in a cool, dry place at a constant temperature. The bottle should be stored horizontally.

Serving:Serve at a temperature between 10 and 12ºC.

Vinification:Fermentation occurs primarily in stainless steel (approximately 15% of the total volume ferments in used oak barrels), with fine lees maintained until the beginning of May, the month when bottling takes place. In this vintage, we also incorporated Alvarinho aged in large oak vats into the blend.
