Exam Notes

Straw-colored, citrusy, with a complex and intense aroma, featuring notes of tropical fruit and dried fruit. On the palate it is full and exuberant, dominated by complexity and very elegant ripe fruit, with a vibrant and fresh acidity. Harmonious on the finish, intense in fruit and persistent.

Winemaking: Hand-harvested grapes of the Arinto, Assario (Malvasia Fina), Fernão-Pires, Tamarez and Roupeiro varieties, from the old white vineyard planted in the enclosed area in 1903. Manual selection of the grapes, carried out berry by berry, which allowed for high control in qualitative homogeneity from the beginning of the production process.
The grapes were pressed, followed by gravity clarification of the must – using the traditional low-temperature method. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures using neutral yeasts, thus preserving the typicity and expression of the terroir. Aged in bottle for 24 months.
