From the selection of the best barrels  Made from French oak, this Garrafeira wine is produced in a limited edition of  2,515 bottles.

Grape varieties: 65% Tinta Roriz; 25% Touriga Nacional; 10% Touriga Franca.

Winemaking: The winter was mild and rainy, while spring and summer were cooler than usual. These conditions led to increased vigor in the vines. Conditions for bunch development were ideal, and by the end of July, the advanced ripening of the bunches was evident, a result of the mild temperatures and abundant water in the soil.

Aging: After 20 months of aging in new French oak barrels and numerous tastings, the best barrels from each batch were selected for the creation of the final blend of this Grande Reserva.

Color: Garnet-colored wine and

Aroma: A very complex aroma, with notes of ripe fruit, a bouquet of wood combined with vanilla, spices, and dried fruit.

Taste: On the palate it presents excellent acidity, considerable volume and structure, with polished tannins. A timeless wine. As it has not been filtered, this wine may contain sediment.

Pairing: Enjoy with roasts, red meats, game, and strong-flavored cheeses. Serve at 16-18ºC.
