 The “Vale da Mata” Tinto is an authentic wine that uniquely reveals the terroir of the region, marked by the freshness and minerality of the Atlantic Ocean.

Grape varieties: Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional

Winemaker: Pedro Ribeiro and Catarina Vieira

Exam Notes

Color: Ruby

Aroma: Floral notes and fresh red fruit well integrated with subtle wood.

Palate: Round, fresh and very gastronomic.

Pairing: Enjoy with lightly caramelized roasted red meat, or with black fruit jam. It also pairs well with a rich Portuguese cheese like "Azeitão" or a traditional "Roquefort".

Service: Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.

Storage: Store lying down at a temperature of 15°C.

Winemaking: Hand-harvested in 12 kg boxes. In the winery, the grapes underwent a further selection on a vibrating sorting table before destemming. Fermentation took place in French oak vats.

Internship: It was aged in French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
