Tasting Notes

The intense aromas are dominated by ripe red fruits (redcurrant, cherry, and blackberry), floral notes (violet), exotic woods (blackwood), and spices (pepper and cinnamon). This combination reflects the balance resulting from the complexity of its production, maturation in oak barrels, and evolution in the bottle. On the palate, it is a very balanced wine, with the typical acidity of Douro wines, well-integrated into its structure. Intense and with a very characteristic profile, it is a persistent wine with an elegant finish.
